Before you bring the car in: what to do and what to leave alone
You do not need to prepare much. A few things help, and one thing, washing the car first, does not.
Very little to prepare
Dry ice cleaning needs almost nothing from you. A few small things make the visit go better.
Before you book
Think about what you want fixed: a dirty engine, rust on the underbody, a car you are about to sell. It is easier to give you a straight answer when we know that up front.
If there are leaks, marks or areas you want us to be careful with, write them down. A few photos of the car as it is now are useful too, and you will like having them next to the after photos.
On the day
Do not wash the car first. We clean it as it is, and a pre-wash only adds moisture to places that are hard to dry. Let the engine cool before you arrive. Take personal items and anything valuable out of the car, and tell us about any known technical problems.
Do not apply any protection product beforehand. We would remove it anyway.
Drop-off and collection
We take two cars a week. You bring the car on Monday and collect it the following Monday. When you arrive we look over the car together, agree exactly what is being done and photograph its condition. When it is ready we go through the result with you and show you the before and after photos.
The inspection costs 181.50 lei with VAT (150 lei + VAT), and it is deducted from the price if you go ahead.

Frequently asked questions
Should I wash the car before I come?
No. Pre-washing does not help, and it can leave moisture in hard-to-reach areas.
Does cleaning come with a warranty?
No. The 2-year labour warranty applies only to the Dinitrol anticorrosion treatment. See rust proofing in Cluj.
